Joshua will make your experience very pleasant. He anticipated all of my requests. I didn't have to ask for anything. That does not happen often and definitely exceeded my expectations. In addition to great service, the decor suggests you are in New York restaurant and the pizza tastes great.

Ordered some pizza after a long day of touring Charleston from Baroni's based on a recommendation from the hotel guidebook. The cashier estimated a 1 hour delivery time (which was surprising given Monday's are always the slowest restaurant days) after 1hr10min, we called to ask what was going on and were told the pizza was almost ready. After 2hrs we called again and the cashier told us the driver already came, called us then left which was not the case. We had no missed call nor did we hear a knock at our door. My husband cancelled the order out of anger thinking it would be a fair punishment to the establishment.. (As I lay in bed with a grumbling stomach, I'm beginning to wonder who really lost this fight) Anyways, it could have been a fluke but wanted to share our experience to help and future yelpers out. We couldn't help but feel they were taking advantage of us being one of the only late night pizza delivery open around the area.

I placed an order for takeout so I can't speak to their level of service when dining in. The counter staff was very friendly when I went in for pickup. I had a coupon for a large/two-topping so I figured I'd give it a shot. The pizza is really good. Everything tastes fresh and has great flavor. After trying the other Pizza places around Mt. P, this may end up being our go to pizza place. I would definitely recommend giving it a shot.

Pizza wasn't bad, but the service was terrible. We placed an online carry out order at 7:15. Received a call from the restaurant at 7:30 saying it would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:00 for pick up and they said we must have ordered from the wrong location...we showed the email confirmation for them to fill our order. After waiting an additional 40 minutes, we received a "sorry for your wait" on the way out of the door. I hate that this happened on our first visit...probably won't try again.

I can definitely see Baroni's becoming a go to spot for grabbing a pizza to take home when I don't feel like cooking anything else... hell, isn't that why pizza was invented. I doubt they deliver to me but if they do, I'll be ordering from them even more. The pizza was good, no the best, but way better than ordering some chain garbage pizza. It's thin crust NY style and smells just like the pizza places on the corner up in the north east. It even looks like I just walked in off the city streets to grab a slice. The biggest selling point was the price. A large Cheese was $10 and then we ordered a Peperoni as well which was only $1.50 more. The thing that might make me think twice about coming in is the fact that when I did recently, I placed an order for two pizzas to go. They rang up my order and told me it would be about 45 minutes. Normally I can order pizza from places 10 minutes from me and have it delivered in 45 minutes. I had already ordered and paid so I figured I would just wait but, I thought that was a ridiculous wait time for two pizzas. The real problem was that it took over an hour to get my two pizzas. That's just entirely too long to wait for a to go order. Pick up the pace and we might have a good thing going.

I'm always looking for a lunch place in Mt. P that offers a half and half combo. What can I say, I like variety, so I like to switch up my lunch choices as much as possible. Today I picked up a slice, small salad, and drink combo. I paid only $6, they didn't put onions or olives on my salad as I requested, and the pizza was good, so I'll be back some day.

I really enjoyed this place - it is definitely a northeast pizza joint - the smell of garlic smacks you in the face as soon as you arrive. Solid pizza, decent beer selection, REALLY good prices. Certainly not fancy but if you're looking for a slice and plastic seat, this is it.

I thought Slice, in Mount Pleasant, was as good as it got for pizza in the Charleston area, but through a tip from a coworker, I've been proven wrong. We checked this place out on Saturday, and it was amazing. The pizza was right, and it was cheap! A large pie, half plain, half mushroom/onion was $10! The garlic knots were great, and they have decent been on tap! We'll definitely be back, even if it's a longer drive!

I asked the guy at the front desk for a pizza delivery recommendation and while he did have a couple fliers from different places, he said that I would be most pleased with the pie from Baroni's. And he was right. It took 35 minutes to be delivered, but when it arrived it was fresh and still quite hot. Since it was just me, I went with a medium "Four Seasons" which had broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, and extra cheese. Heaven. The medium is 14 inches and there was enough to go into the fridge for the next day. Strongly recommend!

Solid pizza and menu items. One of the few places that has Sicilian and round. Saw some negative reviews. To those I say its a pizza place not a Cypress or The Post House. Good pizza right price. Try it and decide. The 1 stars are just off the mark.

We moved here from Hoboken, NJ a month ago. This is a solid New York style pizza. Fresh ingredients. Nice crust. I'm frankly shocked that this doesn't have a higher rating on yelp. All those reviews based on "rude service" are missing the charm... And flavor! Will be a regular from now on.

Terrible delivery service. Took an hour to get here. Driver forgot half gallon of sweet tea, said he would be right back with it. Took another 30 mins to get here. Hardly even apologized.

I had the single worst customer service experience I have ever had in a restaurant here. Avoid this place like the plague. Waited 45 minutes and had to ask if our pizza was almost ready and come to find out that they were just beginning to flatten the dough to make our pizza. There were two other people in the restaurant at 2pm on a Saturday and the excuse the inept cashier gave was that they were extremely busy...had to get a refund which the manager had to show the cashier how to process. No apologies or explanation even offered. Worst experience I've ever had. Such a shame.

Ive eaten alot of pizza and have eaten here last year. But todays plain pizza was the worst ive EVER had. The cheese had a funky taste. It was along the same lines as school pizza. Plus a large pie was only 16"?????

I would start off by writing about how good my food was...but I've been waiting for two hours for my order to get here! We called the restaurant once for the status of the delivery (at the hour and a half mark) and the lady said it would be 20 minutes. Then, we called at the 2 hour mark and she told us it would be another 20 minutes. Finally, at the 2 hour and 20 minute mark, we cancelled our order. Do yourself a favor and order from Kickin Chicken instead.

We recently moved to the area and are looking for a go to pizza delivery spot. This place struck out from the moment the quoted me an hr and half for delivery. I quickly decided to pick up, which was quoted at an hr. I arrived after an hr and 5 minutes. No food ready and I was quoted another 25 to 30 minutes. The woman sitting waiting with me was so furious she asked for a refund and left. I stuck it out. After sitting there looking irritated they offered me a free soda. I appreciated the gesture, which is why I gave a 3 star. The food overall was okay but by the time I got home and recognized I had a partially wrong order after 1.5 hrs I was PISSED!

My quest for a great Philly cheesesteak in the Charleston area has ended here. I give this place four stars for its beef and chicken steak philly sandwiches. Really good stuff. Dude is from Philly and to me, seems to have it down pat. As far as the pizza goes, this place has pretty decent NY style, thin crust pizza, big slices, etc. It also has decent Sicilian pizza by the slice, which is tough to find, so that's a plus. The pizza is more of a three star vote though. However, it is a step up from Domino's, Papa Johns, etc. The place has bench/picnic table style seating in the front and booths towards the back, a few TV's, and beers on tap as well. The service seemed to be pretty fast and attentive, good for families dinning out too.

OK, I love their pizza. BUT, their staff is awful. I didn't know if the guy behind the counter worked there or was an unclean druggy hanging out. Also, the people working the cash register are rude and snarky. I go to get the pizza but dread every moment of dealing with the staff. Come on, Baroni's, hire some decent staff.
